East Nashville Press is not currently open to unsolicited submissions. That is not a soft no or a queue — nothing sent now will be read, and we would rather tell you that than take your manuscript and your hope and sit on both.
The press is small on purpose. A few books at a time, each one given the attention it was written for. Opening the door before we can do that properly would be a disservice to whoever walked through it.
When submissions do open, it is announced to the press list first, and the guidelines go up on this page the same day. Joining the list below is the whole of what you need to do.

Read what we publish
The surest way to know whether a press is right for your book is to read its list. Ours is four titles long and takes an afternoon.

Rights, permissions, foreign editions and audio enquiries are handled directly and are always open, whatever the submissions status.

Hear about a book before it exists
A few emails a year. New titles, publication dates, and the one thing a small press can offer that a big one cannot: you will hear it from the people who made it. This is also where an opening for submissions is announced first.
